These songs were culled from a live performance by Woody Guthrie in 1949 via a wire recording. Initially, these were fragile archival keepsakes but through new technology all of the songs were remastered to perfection.

The CD contains a range of new, rare or exclusive tracks from across the spectrum of the kind of underground/outsider musics covered in The Wire.
